Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Product Support Advisor to join our Kalgoorlie team on an 8/6 roster. This site-based role is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys building strong customer relationships while delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality technical support in the field.

As the first point of contact, you’ll support major accounts, promote Hitachi’s service and parts, and help maintain strong customer relationships. Your communication skills, technical knowledge, and engaging personality will be key to delivering customer satisfaction. You will provide high voltage electrical support to our customers, ensuring the safe operation, Working closely with customers and internal teams, you will help maximise equipment availability while identifying opportunities to promote Hitachi's electrical service capabilities and solutions.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A strong commitment to safety and compliance with high voltage procedures.
• Trade qualification as an Electrician with a current High Voltage Switching qualification.
• Experience maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing high voltage electrical systems on mining equipment.
• Sound knowledge of electrical diagnostics, control systems, PLCs, drives, and HV components.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities and shutdowns in a mining environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence (HR desirable).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high voltage inspections, testing, maintenance, and fault diagnosis on Hitachi mining equipment.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to customers to improve equipment reliability.
• Promote Hitachi's high voltage service capabilities, upgrades, and electrical solutions.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site and statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate service reports and communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
