The Opportunity

HCA has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the achievement of sales and profit goals for Western Australia.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, Perth you will also:

  • Supervise a sales team and their marketing activities, ensuring the correct skills and behavioural values are being applied to achieve sales goals
  • Liaising with branch personnel to assist in achieving branch sales targets
  • Implementing strategies to achieve sales targets and expense budgets
  • Improving market share and competitive position through business growth and development
  • Reporting on market intelligence, competitor activity and market trends

This position is best suited to a true sales professional, someone who is driven and motivated to meet sales targets through proven growth methodologies.

As the ideal candidate you will also have:

  • Demonstrated management experience with the ability to engage and enable a team of dedicated and talented sales professionals to achieve sales targets
  • An outstanding track record in sales within the construction/mining equipment (or similar) industry
  • Commercial understanding and the ability to work within budgets
  • Exceptional relationship building skills with a commitment to enhancing relationships with customers, peers and the community
  • Business and/or Management related tertiary qualifications an advantage
  • To maintain a Safety First leadership style
  • A strong technical understanding of earthmoving equipment is beneficial but not essential
