The Opportunity
With ongoing growth in our Perth Mining Assembly department, we are seeking a quality‑focused Fitter to join our Forrestdale team on a 7/7 roster. This hands-on position is responsible for mining equipment assembly of new mining machines within a supportive, safety‑first environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assemble a range of Hitachi mining equipment
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on new and used equipment
- Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork and reports
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with HCA standards
To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold Australian (or Australian‑recognised) trade qualifications in Mobile Plant or Heavy Diesel
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the HCA Safety Culture—safety is always the top priority
- Hold a current driver’s licence
- High Risk Work licences (e.g., forklift, dogging, working at heights) are desirable
