The Opportunity

Hitachi Mackay has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Storeperson to join our Parts and Warehousing team.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be involved in the coordination and logistics behind the supply of quality parts to our much-loved customer base. You will be responsible for providing a range of OEM level services through to stock coordination, receiving and dispatching parts, cyclic stock counts.

This role will be best suited to someone who enjoys a challenging and stimulating work environment as you will be;

  • Providing a range of OEM level services in the supply of parts to internal and external customers
  • Hands-on in end-to-end logistical support for our parts department
  • Previous stores/warehouse experience in a parts environment or similar industry
  • Experience processing, receipting inbound deliveries
  • Pick, pack and preparing outbound orders
  • Maintaining dispatch records, inbound and outbound documents

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous stores/warehouse experience in a parts environment or similar industry
  • Experience processing, receipting inbound deliveries as well as pick, pack and preparing outbound orders
  • Experience maintaining dispatch records, inbound and outbound documents
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Self-motivation with a focus on customer service, committed to delivering Hitachi’s promise of Total Customer Satisfaction
  • High attention to detail with excellent time management
  • Current forklift licence
  • RF scanning experience - preferred
