Our Mackay branch provides industry-leading sales and support to customers across the region. Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, the Customer Support Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional service to enterprise mining customers, coordinating the maintenance of capital equipment, and driving a high-quality customer experience that supports long-term commercial value.
About the Opportunity
Due to growth of our business, we have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Support Representative - Mining to join our Mackay team supporting mines in the Bowen Basin.
As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver end-to-end OEM technical and customer support to maximise mining equipment uptime
- Guide customers through warranty and service processes to drive commercial value
- Promote parts and service solutions to grow sales and revenue
- Provide exceptional customer experience across mining capital equipment
- Track and report on activities, pipeline, and competitor insights
- Represent Hitachi on-site, resolving technical issues and building trust
- Strengthen customer relationships through proactive, high-quality service
To be successful you will need:
- Strong working knowledge of mining equipment, including excavators and haul trucks
- Proven technical experience in diesel, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and willing to travel within the assigned region as required
- Relevant trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines
