An opportunity exists for an experienced Product Support Specialist to provide OEM-level support across Hitachi's mining Excavator fleet. This role focuses on troubleshooting complex equipment issues, supporting field teams, and identifying national failure trends.

Your responsibilities include:

• Provide technical support for breakdowns and equipment performance issues.
• Assist branches and customers with fault-finding and failure investigations.
• Analyse equipment failures and identify recurring trends across the fleet.
• Support field service teams with technical guidance and recommendations.
• Conduct site visits as required to investigate complex issues.
• Share technical knowledge and lessons learned across the business.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to improve equipment reliability and support outcomes.

About You – We want to hear from you if you possess the following qualities:

• Trade or technical background in mobile mining equipment.
• OEM experience (Preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capability.
• Experience with large mining excavators.
• Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple technical issues.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both customers and internal teams.
