  • Lead Employee Relations & Compliance
Manage investigations, grievances, and industrial relations matters while ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act, Enterprise Agreements, and Awards.
  • Drive Culture & Inclusion
Champion initiatives that enhance employee engagement and foster a diverse, inclusive, and values-driven workplace.
  • Support Talent & Onboarding
Collaborate with recruitment and HR Services and Project team to deliver inclusive hiring practices and seamless onboarding, including early careers programs such as apprenticeships.
  • Contribute to WHS & Payroll Alignment
Partner with safety and payroll teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and positive employee experiences.
  • Leverage HR Data
Deliver insights through HR reporting and analytics to support informed decision-making.

About You

You’re a confident HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships. You’ll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor or Business Partner across the full employee lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation (Fair Work Act, Enterprise Agreements, Awards)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and drive positive people outcomes
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders and locations
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to work both independently and within a national HR team

Desirable:

  • Experience in mining, resources, or heavy industry
  • Exposure to FIFO or complex rostering environments
  • Willingness to travel locally as required

Why Join Hitachi?

  • Competitive salary package + biannual company bonuses
  • Permanent, full-time role with long-term job security
  • Access to exclusive employee benefits and discounts
  • Supportive leadership focused on innovation and continuous improvement
  • A strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, safety, and wellbeing
