The Opportunity
As the Branch Manager, you will step into a pivotal leadership role within Hitachi leading our Northern Territory operations. This is your opportunity to inspire a high performing team while taking ownership of operational performance, people leadership, and strategic growth, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer outcomes and operational excellence.
Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Operations Management – Providing strong direction and leadership across Parts, Service, Administration and Sales functions to ensure efficient and effective branch performance.
- People & Culture– Leading, coaching and empowering a diverse team of 60+ employees to achieve branch objectives while fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
- Safety Commitment – Championing safety as our number one priority by driving proactive safety initiatives and ensuring compliance across all operations.
- Continuous Improvement - Identifying opportunities for growth and operational enhancement, implementing strategies that drive long-term success.
- Business Development - Actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while strengthening market presence.
- Stakeholder Relationships - Building and nurturing strong relationships with customers, internal teams and the wider community.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience & Skillset - Demonstrated leadership experience managing a diverse team from a range of departments
- Industry Knowledge: A developed understanding of OEM services - relevant tertiary / trade qualifications would be highly regarded
- Financial Coordination: Proven financial acumen with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets
- Safety Conscious: Strong awareness and commitment to personal and peer health and safety.
- Analytical thinking: Creative problem solver with an innovative ability to navigate complex issues
- Advanced Communication & Presentation Skills: Planning work efficiently and effectively to deliver Hitachi’s Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction
