About the Role

Reporting to the Field Service / Mining Builds Coordinator, you will oversee all Perth Field Service operations, ensuring timely, efficient and customer‑focused service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Field Service Technicians and apprentices
• Plan, schedule, allocate and coordinate labour, parts, tooling and resources
• Oversee diagnostics, maintenance, repair, and breakdown support activities
• Ensure all job documentation, QA compliance, WIP and invoicing targets are met
• Provide accurate job quotations and follow-up with customers
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety conversations and performance coaching
• Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma principles
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver consistent service excellence
• Oversee warranty claims, Consite reports and FIR close-outs

What You’ll Bring

Essential

• Trade qualification (HD Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, Mobile Plant Technician or similar)
• Strong technical background in mining, construction or heavy equipment
• Experience supervising or mentoring tradespeople
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage scheduling, job costing, WIP and labour recovery
• Computer literacy and strong organisation skills

Highly Regarded

• Hitachi or other major OEM experience
• Experience with AMT, D365 or OEM diagnostic systems
• OH&S Supervisor training, project management or logistics experience
