The Opportunity
HCA's Emerald branch has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, energised, and well-presented team player to join us in the role of Administration Assistant / Receptionist.
Reporting to the Administration Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing phone calls, emails, and face-to-face enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area
- Processing daily banking transactions
- Processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Scanning, filing, and maintaining branch documentation as required
- Supporting and participating in Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) practices
- Assisting with general administrative duties as required
- Maintaining accurate supplier and contractor records
About You
- Previous experience in a similar administrative or reception role will be highly regarded, but is not essential
- A positive, “glass half full” attitude with a genuine willingness to contribute as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A competent level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- The ability to use initiative and effectively manage multiple administrative tasks in a busy office environment
