Field Service Mechanic - Lube Truck | Adelaide

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a motivated and trade-qualified mechanic to join our Field Service team as a Field Service Technician (Lube Truck) on a 7/7 roster. Based out of our Cavan branch, this role will see you working across customer sites, carrying out preventive maintenance, servicing, inspections, and minor repairs on Hitachi earthmoving equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out high-quality maintenance, repair work, inspections, and routine servicing on our premium equipment in the field
• Conducting machine health checks and identifying maintenance requirements before they become major issues
• Completing inspection reports and other essential documentation accurately and efficiently
• Delivering exceptional customer service and building positive relationships with customers onsite
• Minimising machine downtime and maximising equipment productivity for our customers
• Maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance at all times

About You

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

• Relevant trade qualification – Heavy Diesel Technicians and Truck/Heavy Commercial Mechanics are encouraged to apply
• Demonstrated experience servicing and/or repairing automotive, heavy vehicle, earthmoving, agricultural, mining, or construction equipment
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• The ability to diagnose and navigate technical issues relating to repair and maintenance activities
• A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A current MR Driver’s Licence or higher
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and high-quality workmanship
