Based at the Gunnedah Branch, the Coordinator - Parts plays a key role in supporting customers across the mining, construction and heavy equipment sectors by ensuring the efficient operation of the Parts Department and warehouse. Reporting directly to the Parts Manager, this position is responsible for driving parts sales performance, inventory accuracy, customer service excellence and operational efficiency while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance. The primary objective of the role is to ensure parts availability, timely order fulfilment and profitable departmental performance, while supporting both internal service teams and external customers to maximise equipment uptime and business outcomes.

 

About the Opportunity

As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead safe and compliant Parts & Warehouse operations, promoting a strong safety-first culture.
  • Drive Parts Department performance to achieve revenue, gross profit and budget targets.
  • Manage inventory, stock control and stocktake accuracy to maximise customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee customer orders, quotations, invoicing and parts transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Support effective cash flow through management of accounts receivable and WIP processes.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Parts team.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues, delivering exceptional service outcomes.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency and cost performance.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Service, Administration and Operations to achieve business objectives.

 

To be successful you will need:

  • Previous experience in Parts, Warehouse, Supply Chain or Aftermarket Operations leadership.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management, stock control and warehouse operations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety (WHS).
  • Experience with ERP systems, customer ordering platforms and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent customer service, stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence and business growth.
