The Opportunity
Our Forrestdale branch is seeking an experienced and motivated Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for a personable professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on fleet and asset administration.

You’ll provide end-to-end administrative support, liaising with branches and departments across the Western Region, maintaining databases, and working closely with the Administration Manager to resolve issues and improve processes.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the day‑to‑day management of assets.
  • Maintaining branch registers for Fixed and Physical Assets (Buildings, Land, Furniture & Fittings, IT/Computing, Plant & Machinery) and Personnel Asset Allocations.
  • Supporting asset purchasing and monitoring the initial registration process.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Conducting internal QA assessments and supporting branch audits (internal and external).
  • Processing Accounts Payable and assisting with supplier account setup as required.
  • Reconciling databases and preparing reports as needed.
  • Providing reception coverage during breaks and leave.
  • Delivering administrative support for Fleet, Accounts Receivable, and Building Maintenance (as required).
  • Performing ad‑hoc branch administrative duties as required.

To be successful you will need:

  • Available to work three 7.5‑hour days per week, preferably Monday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Friday.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in an administration role, assets and fleet control desirable.
  • Dynamics 365 experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Good understanding / Knowledge of accounting concepts.
  • Demonstrated Intermediate to Advanced MS Office experience, including Word and Excel.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to take initiative and work as part of a small team.
  • Both a high attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, organisation, multi-tasking and coordinating tasks with other groups both internal and external are required.
