The Opportunity
Our Cavan branch is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Supervisor to lead our busy Workshop team. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organising and supervising all workshop operations, while coaching and mentoring your team to achieve departmental targets, budgets and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Maintain work schedules to ensure optimal utilisation of equipment and resources
- Support, mentor and motivate workshop fitters and apprentices, driving a strong safety-first culture
- Allocate labour and resources effectively to deliver timely service and OEM-level quality
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Total Customer Satisfaction across performance, product, workmanship and warranty
- Ensure all HCA employees and contractors comply with WHS responsibilities and uphold a consistent, proactive safety culture
- Oversee WIP management of workshop work orders, maintain cost control and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant diesel or mobile plant mechanic trade qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience with strong leadership capability
- A demonstrated commitment to safety and a solid understanding of WHS principles
- Experience in earthmoving equipment maintenance
- Excellent time management with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to support and drive positive change
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on keeping all stakeholders informed
