The Opportunity

We’re looking for a skilled Workshop Fitter to join our Emerald workshop team.

In this role, you’ll work on a wide range of construction, earthmoving, and mining equipment—handling diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs while supporting high-quality service delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on heavy equipment
  • Maintain quality standards across workshop repairs and machine assembly
  • Support and mentor apprentices
  • Provide technical input, job estimates, and reports
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment

About You

  • Relevant trade qualification (Mobile Plant, Diesel Fitter, or similar)
  • OR Light Vehicle Mechanic looking to transition into heavy machinery
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • Previous workshop or mining/construction experience (advantageous)
