The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Trades Assistant to join our Remanufacturing team in Forrestdale. Working alongside skilled technicians, you'll support the remanufacture of major machine components to OEM standards while developing your skills through ongoing training and career development with a global industry leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Tradesmen to disassemble components in line with procedures when required
- Pressure was and soda Blast a range of machine components
- Overhead Crane operation
- Forklift operation
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when carrying out final QA inspections and pack units when ready for dispatch
- Assist in store control including receiving and dispatch of Reman items
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
About You
- A strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in heavy industry, earthmoving, automotive, manufacturing or a similar environment.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Basic computer skills.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain).
- Rigging/dogging or overhead crane tickets are highly regarded.
