The Opportunity
We are currently on the lookout for a trade qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our site team based in South Australia, working on a 7/7 FIFO roster. In this role, your key focus will be to provide preventative and breakdown maintenance and repairs on Hitachi mining equipment and other products as needed.
To be successful in your application, you will need to:
- Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) Mobile Plant trade qualifications
- Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else
- Have experience with and knowledge of civil and mining equipment
- Have a strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously within remote areas
- Have good communication and customer service skills with the ability to build long term relationships
- Have strong technical knowledge and diagnostic ability
