The Opportunity

Hitachi is currently seeking a motivated Branch Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our Kalgoorlie Branch, supporting our Perth branch network. In this key role, you will ensure the smooth coordination of Service, Parts, After Sales Support, and overall branch operations, helping deliver the high standards of performance and customer support that Hitachi is known for.

Reporting to our Perth Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a good working relationship with customers, peers and other departments
  • Identifying continuous improvements within your area of responsibility.
  • Daily communication with customers, our service, parts admin staff, and other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with company environmental policy, quality assurance systems, and workplace health & safety requirements
  • Investigating and effectively resolving customer complaints.
  • Respond and investigate enquiries from our staff and clients, referring, identifying a resolution to, and/or escalating enquires as appropriate.

To be successful in performing this position you will require:

  • Previous experience within the heavy equipment industry and a trade qualification.
  • The ability to work unsupervised in a demanding environment
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills and the ability to multitask and demonstrate flexibility where required.
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with a wide range of people at all levels.
  • Capacity to use the following computer applications; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Internet Explorer
  • Proven ability to prepare and communicate information clearly and professionally in both verbal and written form.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player and work cooperatively with other stakeholders to further develop the organisation.
