The Opportunity

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic, results-driven Service Manager with a passion for excellence and strong leadership mindset.  Based in the Cavan branch you will ensure top-quality service delivery to our customers while meeting safety, operational, and financial targets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversight of daily operations of HCA Service and technical trades staff, ensuring optimal use of labour resources
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders on customer needs, machine performance, product quality, workmanship, and warranty matters.
  • Promoting and enforcing strict WHS compliance among employees and contractors, fostering a strong safety-first culture
  • Driving the financial performance of the Service department, achieving key targets such as WIP and profit margins
  • Managing warranty expenses, ensure timely recovery, and maintain accurate reporting
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers, peers, and other departments, leading regular team meetings to boost morale and provide coaching to achieve departmental goals and KPIs

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

  • The ability to engage and lead a team of dedicated and talented service staff to achieve business objectives
  • Track record of successfully managing operations within a comparable environment
  • Demonstrated safety focus with a strong understanding of WHS principles
  • A commitment to enhancing relationships with customers, peers and the community
  • Relevant tertiary and/or trade qualifications are highly regarded
