Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Service Administrator to join our Perth Service department, based in the Forrestdale branch. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of the service department by ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant administrative processes.

This is a permanent, full-time role focused on supporting the contracts, mining builds and ad hoc field service teams.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work order preparation and timely closure for service invoicing
  • Maintenance of local databases to track WIP and LMS
  • Payroll support – collating timesheets and leave, payroll processing
  • Purchase order, invoice and contract management
  • Compile information required for internal and external audits
  • Vendor and resources engagement, scheduling and job allocation
  • Arranging site mobilisations and inductions, training and maintaining records
  • Assist in other general Service administration tasks

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with a commitment to safe work practices
