The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an organised and customer-focused Receptionist / Administrator to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity, working Thursdays and Fridays at our Dandenong branch.

This is a varied, fast-paced role that will see you become a key part of our branch operations. Reporting to the Admin Manager, you will be the first point of contact for customers and visitors while providing essential administrative support across the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the branch
  • Welcoming customers and visitors while managing incoming calls and email enquiries
  • Maintaining customer payment systems and records
  • Updating and maintaining databases and internal systems through accurate and timely data entry
  • Coordinating office facilities, meeting room bookings and schedules for internal and external stakeholders
  • Conducting visitor inductions and ensuring all relevant documentation is completed
  • Managing customer enquiries and escalations, ensuring Hitachi's commitment to Total Customer Satisfaction is delivered
  • Supporting branch compliance with WHS policies and procedures, including organising safety inductions
  • Assisting with a variety of general branch administrative tasks as required

About You

To be successful you will need:

  • Availability to work 7:00am - 5:00pm, Thursdays and Fridays
  • Previous experience in a Receptionist, Administration or Customer Service role
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for helping others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 is advantageous but not essential
  • Accounts receivable experience is desirable but not essential
