The Opportunity

Site: Tarrawonga and Vickery Mine Sites

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to oversee the operational performance of the excavator and truck fleets at Tarrawonga and Vickery mines, working closely with the client to ensure effective management and maintenance.

Reporting to the After Sales and Major Projects Manager, key responsibilities include:

• Planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance and warranty tasks in line with project schedules and budgets.
• Managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety, budget, and specifications.
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet objectives, aligned with Hitachi specifications.
• Overseeing Gunnedah tradesmen and handling project administration in accordance with HCA standards.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Relevant trade qualifications and proven Supervisory/Project Management experience.
• Strong background in managing mobile equipment projects within the mining industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently, ensuring deadlines are met.
• A strong track record in safety and quality assurance.
