The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Service team as a Field
Service Fitter based out of our Muswellbrook branch. You will be responsible for providing diagnostics, repair and maintenance services to our customer’s equipment in the field and in our workshop.
This role is perfect for someone focused on quality service, proactive problem-solving, and delivering exceptional service outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenance
- Building and maintaining excellent rapport with our customer base
- Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork
- Conducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards, procedures and company policies
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Certificate of Proficiency in Mobile Plant Technology
- Current driver’s license
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues
- Construction and or Mining equipment experience is highly regarded
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette
- High risk work licenses Basic Rigging, Forklift, highly regarded
- Willingness to travel on occasion to support our remote clients
