The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and customer focused individual to join our team as a Parts Interpreter. Based in our Launceston branch, the position will see you focus on the coordination and supply of quality products to our customer base through sourcing parts, managing customer queries and invoicing, as well as warranty support and stock coordination.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting and processing customer parts requests such as pricing, availability of stock and order enquiries
  • Providing specialist service to internal and external customers for parts via phone and email
  • Source and supply parts to meet customer requests
  • Raise quotes, sales orders and invoices for parts sales
  • Exercising your strong computer skills, data entry accuracy and attention to detail

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Exceptional customer service skills and experience
  • An interest in earthmoving parts, components, products, equipment and services
  • A developed mechanical understanding of the Construction and Mining field would be highly regarded but is not essential
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills e.g. Internet-based applications, MS office and outlook
  • Passion and a positive attitude to deliver the best outcome for our customers
  • High Risk Forklift License would be beneficial
