The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Operations Manager to lead our Dandenong and Somerton Branch operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving strong performance, Budgeted Financial outcomes, Customer Satisfaction and Business Growth across our Victoria operations.
Reporting to the General Manager – Southern Region, you will oversee all branch activities, ensuring alignment with the Companies objectives while fostering a strong culture of Safety, Accountability and Continuous Improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Leadership – Champion a proactive safety culture and compliance across the Branch operations
- Operations Leadership – Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Dandenong and Somerton branches
- People & Culture– Leading, coaching and empowering a diverse team of 70+ employees to achieve branch objectives while fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture
- Financial Management – Develop and manage annual budgets, implement business plans and drive performance against financial targets
- Customer Relationships – Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and support growth opportunities
- Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to improve performance, reduce costs and enhance reliability
- Quality & Compliance – Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and quality standards
- Industry Engagement – Participate in industry events and activities that strengthen market presence
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:
- Proven experience in Managing an Operational multi-department business or similar roles.
- Lead from strong and positive engagement, an OEM or similar Business of 60 or more team members
- Effective leadership and team development capabilities
- Proven financial and commercial acumen including setting budgets and business planning.
- Excellent customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Intermediate or better Microsoft Office skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Management, Business or related disciplines

- Branch Management experience within the construction or related heavy equipment industries.
