The Opportunity

With strong growth in our Service Department, our Perth branch has an exciting opportunity for a workshop based High Voltage Electrician on a 7/7 roster. In this role, you will focus on performing upgrades to Australian standard, maintenance and fit out of local options to our Electric Drive Dump Trucks also assisting with electrical service, maintenance and fit outs on our other Hitachi product lines. Based in Forrestdale, this permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while you build a long-term career in a global company.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else
  • Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) Electrical trade qualifications with a High Voltage Switching Ticket
  • Have experience with Mining, Earthmoving and/or Construction equipment electrical fault finding & diagnosis
  • Have the ability to recognise basic product quality deviations/faults
  • Hold good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Having experienced in a production line style workshop would be advantageous
