The Opportunity
We are seeking a Customer Support Specialist – Mining to join our Emerald team, supporting customers across the Bowen Basin.
This role combines technical expertise, customer service, and sales, where you will build strong relationships, provide OEM support, and identify growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver OEM technical and customer support to mining clients
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Promote parts and service solutions to achieve sales targets
- Develop quotes and work to a structured call cycle
- Attend site meetings to support issue resolution
- Maintain accurate records and report on sales activity
- Attendance at customer site meetings as required to resolve technical issues Provide fluent customer relationship management, and a positive customer experience
About You
- Trade qualification (mechanical or electrical) – essential
- Strong understanding of mining or earthmoving equipment
- Experience in a similar role (customer support, sales, or service)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Strong admin and computer skills
- Willingness to travel regionally
