If you're an Accounts Payable professional who takes pride in accuracy and building strong supplier relationships, this permanent role at our Parramatta support office is worth a close look.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate validation of invoice data capture in the AP automation software.
- Review invoices for required data elements and communicate with vendors when missing
- Periodic reconciliation of vendor accounts
- Ensure the branches process creditors invoices in accordance with company policy
- Review and follow up of ageing invoices that have not been processed by branches.
- Ensure payments are processed in accordance to company policies
- Attend to enquiries from creditors relative to payment of accounts.
- Prompt response to enquiries by internal stake holders on vendor related matters.
- Assist in Vendor set up based on company policies.
- Assist with preparation of weekly payment vouchers
- Assist in developing relevant policies and required process improvements.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Payable or similar transactional finance role
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing workload and deadlines
- Proficiency with ERP or accounting software (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage)
- Clear communication skills with the confidence to follow up on outstanding items professionally
- An understanding of three-way purchase order matching and invoice processing workflows
- A collaborative approach that fits a close-knit support team
