The Opportunity
We’re seeking experienced HD Fitters / Mobile Plant Mechanics to join our team. Enjoy a flexible roster, job security, and real career growth while performing quality maintenance and component change-outs across Pilbara and North West mine sites.
Working a variety of FIFO rosters, you will:
- Commitment to HCA’s strong safety culture — safety is the top priority.
- Recognised Australian mobile plant trade qualification.
- Experience and sound knowledge of mining equipment.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in remote team environments.
- Current driver’s licence and police clearance.

In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive:
- Competitive starting wage, 15% nightshift loading, Pilbara zone allowance & the potential to earn bi-annual bonuses!
- Multiple rosters and ad hoc available
- Scaled rates – starting rate $72/hr, potential to qualify for $92hr based on yearly performance & training completed
- 1hr of Airport standby time & 2hrs of flight travel time paid to/from the Pilbara
- All travel hours on site paid – airport to site, intersite, and site to camp / vice versa
- Reimbursements paid for transport to and from home to airport, or airport parking
- 12hrs paid fatigue shifts and Minimum 12hrs paid for rostered shift days
- Tailored training to suit career development - inclusive of both Hitachi product specific & high-risk training – paid at full rate for 12hrs on any rostered day.
