We are currently seeking an experienced Mining Technology Trainer to deliver high‑quality technical training on Wenco mining solutions, supporting both internal teams and our valued customers across Australia.

This role is critical to ensuring our technology delivers measurable operational value, safety improvements, and long‑term customer success.

About the Role

As a Mining Technology Trainer, you will play a hands‑on role in driving system adoption and capability uplift through world‑class training programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering instructor‑led technical training for mining technology solutions
  • Conducting onsite training at customer mine sites and nominated locations (e.g. Perth or Brisbane)
  • Training internal teams including support, service, and sales
  • Training external customers such as operators, supervisors, administrators, and managers
  • Customising training material to site‑specific workflows and operational needs
  • Developing and maintaining training materials, including manuals, quick‑reference guides, eLearning modules, and assessments
  • Creating structured learning pathways for different user groups
  • Assessing training effectiveness and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Providing one‑on‑one coaching, mentoring, and refresher training
  • Acting as a subject‑matter expert for mining technology systems and best practices
  • Working collaboratively with product, implementation, and operations teams
  • Ensuring all training activities are delivered with a strong focus on safety and compliance
 

About You

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience delivering and developing technical training programs
  • Strong knowledge of mining technology systems
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and confidently
  • Experience working onsite in operational or industrial environments
  • A customer‑focused mindset with a passion for capability development

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)

Desirable

  • Experience with Wenco or similar Fleet Management Systems
  • Prior exposure to mining operations, dispatch, or production environments
