Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.

The Opportunity

With strong growth in our mining operations, we have an exciting opportunity for experienced and motivated Site Support Technicians to join the team. This site based role would be scheduled on a FIFO roster of a 2/2 working both day and night shifts. Reporting to the Site Support Supervisor, main responsibilities include:

  • Providing quality and timely customer outcomes through diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of equipment
  • Attending to onsite site breakdowns and undertaking fault finding and diagnostic work
  • Ensuring the HCA Safety Culture is embraced and displayed and driven from within

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant diesel or plant mechanic trade qualifications with experience in the maintenance of mining equipment
  • Good communication and customer service skills and the ability to build long term relationships
  • Hold High Risk Licences – EWP – WAH – Dogging & Rigging
