Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is looking for a skilled Field Service Fitter or Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Canberra team. You’ll work on cutting-edge Hitachi and Bell machinery across the ACT and surrounding regions, backed by world-class training and support.

Rosters Available

• Standard Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm
• Lifestyle Roster: 4 on / 4 off / 4 on / 2 off, 7:00am – 5:00pm

About You

We want to hear from you if you’re:

• Safety-Focused: You take pride in working safely and have a good understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Driven & Positive: You build strong relationships and bring energy to the team.
• A Problem Solver: You think ahead, minimize rework, and work efficiently.
• Qualified: Cert III in Mobile Plant Mechanics (or Equivalent).
• Experienced: Diesel mechanics with OEM or excavator diagnostic experience are highly regarded.
• Customer-Focused: You have high regard for customer service and deliver quality outcomes.
