The Opportunity

Our team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Support Representative to join Hitachi. This permanent full-time position will see you managing a designated territory, building strong customer relationships and driving sales growth across Hitachi and our extended filtration product range.

You will work closely with customers, resellers and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, deliver tailored solutions and provide outstanding support that reinforces Hitachi's commitment to Total Customer Satisfaction. 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Develop, manage and grow strong relationships with established customers and resellers across the territory
• Drive new business and sales growth across the Hitachi and extended filtration product range by identifying and converting new opportunities
• Understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions that maximise customer value and sales opportunities
• Lead commercial negotiations with customers and resellers, including supply agreements and ongoing business development
• Maintain strong market and competitor knowledge to identify emerging opportunities, risks and growth potential
• Work closely with OEM Product Managers to maximise market coverage, product opportunities and customer solutions
• Develop and execute an effective territory sales plan, including customer call cycles, site visits, pipeline development and targeted business activities
• Provide accurate and timely reporting on sales activity, pipeline, market intelligence and territory performance
• Achieve sales, margin and trading targets while delivering sustainable growth across the territory

As the Ideal Candidate, You Will Have:

• Demonstrated sales and customer service experience with a proven track record of success
• Experience within the Earthmoving, Mining, Automotive or similar industries highly regarded
• A genuine commitment to delivering Hitachi's promise of Total Customer Satisfaction through strong, long-term customer relationships
• Previous experience using CRM or similar customer relationship management systems
• A motivated, competitive and results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets
• Strong resilience and persistence, with the ability to learn from setbacks and remain focused on achieving results
• A current driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout the territory
