Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Administrator to join our busy Remanufacturing department at our Forrestdale branch. Reporting to the Remanufacturing Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of the Reman department by ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant administrative processes.

This is a permanent, full‑time position; however, we may consider part‑time arrangements for the right candidate.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing production orders and ensuring timely closure to support accurate Reman service invoicing
  • Opening and closing jobs, maintaining WIP control, and updating WIP status records
  • Processing service timesheets and compiling payroll summaries
  • Processing purchase orders and invoices in Dynamics with high accuracy
  • Assisting with internal and external audits
  • Coordinating site inductions, training records, and maintaining compliance documentation
  • Administering internal/external mail, phone enquiries, filing, and general office tasks

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous experience in a service administration or business administration role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with a commitment to safe work practices
