Position Details:

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment. With a solid network of branches nationally, we service a multitude of customers, including mining, construction, quarry and forestry with our world class, quality OEM equipment and dedicated after sales and support services. 

Our Somerton branch has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join the team in the position of Service Administrator. This role will have you providing end to end administrative support for our growing Service Department and will be best suited for someone who enjoys systematic attention to detailed work. Your core duties will include:

  • Internal, customer and warranty work order opening, preparation and closure for all service invoicing
  • Timesheet processing and payroll support
  • Purchase order and invoice processing
  • Service employee training, accommodation and induction scheduling

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience  - Prior background working in a similar service or heavy industrial environment position
  • Skillset - Confident CRM proficiency in invoicing, warranty, purchase orders and payroll. Microsoft Dynamics and Fleetwave experience highly regarded.
  • A friendly and helpful approach to collaboratively and autonomously deliver quality service
  • Excellent time management abilities and attention to detail
